Your SundayMag cover always tries to bring you gorgeous, innovative and talented young Rwandans. Today, we introduce to you one of the country’s promising and ambitious models, Annet Mahoro.

Her role as model instructor has landed her the tag of ‘Rwanda’s supermodel’, and she is also praised for enforcing the culture of modelling in Rwanda.

This phenomenal young lady, with a phenomenal body and natural catwalk, graces our cover…a true star in the making. Regardless of her simplicity and age, Mahoro could easily pass as Rwanda’s Naomi Campbell.

She started modelling in 2004 inspired by her friends who regularly complimented her body size and style of walking.
In 2009, she cast models in Mode Afrique and Supermodel competition.

Mahoro also trains girls aspiring to become Misses in their respective Universities. Some of the girls she trained include, beauty contestants at the Miss School of Finance and Banking (SFB), the National University of Rwanda (NUR) and the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (ISAE) Busogo.

When she is not busy modelling and studying, Mahoro spends time reading different books, listening to music and news. She also enjoys swimming and venturing.

Mahoro is in her 3rd year in the faculty of Economics and Management, at the National University of Rwanda (NUR).
She plans to advance with her education, and also venture into the fashion industry.
