Editor,

Thank you for allowing me to voice my grievances with MTN in your esteemed daily. As a fellow frustrated MTN customer who commented last week, MTN has to wake up and deliver quality services to its customers.

For the last couple of weeks, the telephone network has been terrible.

Calls end in the middle of conversations and leave the other party wondering if the caller has run out of airtime. VERY EMBARASSING.

To be able to call some one is virtually impossible as the network is always busy or hanging and to make matters worse, in case one manages to get through to MTN call centre you are rewarded with staff that have no idea of how to address your problem.

They are good at imitating American accents though.
Instead of putting meaningless full page adverts, it would be a good idea to put a small notice in the news papers explaining the technical problems and requesting the customers to bear patience.

Come on MTN, stop wasting precious money on fake advertising and silly marketing campaigns.

Put your money where it is needed most, new equipment, quality staff and quality responses to problems.

Remember the adage? The higher you climb, the harder you fall. Now we do not want to see you fall, do we?

John Bosco.
