HHN celebrate 5 years anniversary in Mwezi

NYAMASHEKE - The Human Help Network (HHN), a German based charity organization over the weekend celebrated 5 years of its existence and partnership with Mwezi Parish in Karengera sector in Nyamasheke district.  

According to officials at Mwezi Parish, HHN has been supporting  over 600 orphans in different sectors of Karengera, Nyakabuye and Ruharambuga.    

At the function that was held on Saturday at Mwezi Parish conference hall, Emmanuel Ndayambaje, officer  in charge of vulnerable groups and disaster management who presided over the event called upon the orphans to always strive for  self improvement.  

He applauded HHN for their financial assistance to various orphans in the district and called upon NGOs to offer more support to other orphans who are still in need. 

During the event, the organization donated an assortment of sport equipment.  

"I thank the Human Help Network for their unconditional support to various orphans in this region. However the beneficiaries should always strive for self sustenance,” Ndayambaje urged the orphans.     

Aderina Nyirabusunyu, a social worker with HHN said that the organization is always at the forefront in supporting marginalized groups in the district.
