ALGERIA’S head coach Rabah Saadane has summoned 15 foreign based players for next month’s World Cup qualifier against Rwanda.

According to dzfoot.com, the 15-man pre-selected list will form part of the roster when the Fennecs host Amavubi in Blida on October 11.

Amavubi are also scheduled to start residential training next Tuesday ahead of what will surely make or break their 2010 Africa Nations Cup qualifying campaign.

The Wasps need to win Algeria to stay in the race for a slot at next year’s Africa Nations Cup in Angola. Amavubi are still at the foot of Group C after managing a solitary point from their four group games.

After a disappointing goalless draw against Algeria, Branko Tucak’s team dented their World Cup hopes after losing their next three games.

The team suffered a harsh 0-1 defeat in Zambia, went down in Egypt 0-3 before succumbing to another harsh 0-1 defeat in the return leg.

Rwanda will be boosted by the return of key players Patrick Mafisango, Mbuyu Twite and Jean Baptista Mugiraneza ‘Migi’ who didn’t play against Egypt.

Mafisango and Mbuyu were suspended for Egypt’s return leg while Migi missed the game after failing to recover from a toe injury.

Algeria top the group with 10 points, Egypt is second with seven while Zambia is in third spot with four points. Rwanda is yet to score in the campaign.
