The Healing Worship Ministry is putting final touches on preparations for their highly anticipated worship and praise event, "Healfest Worship Experience," scheduled for June 15, 2025, at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village.

Built around the inspirational theme "You created us to praise you," the gospel concept will launch a series of worship tours across countries in the East African region.

According to the ministry’s president, Eric Sibomana, the Healfest Worship Experience aims to achieve several key objectives varying from igniting the spirit of worship and praise to God throughout the region, to encouraging youth to embrace a life dedicated to worshiping.

The festival also aims to unite the body of Christ by bringing churches together in worship and contribute to national development and environmental conservation.

The concert will feature various worship leaders and singers, with a full lineup to be announced in the coming weeks.

Founded in 2009 at Power of Prayer Church, Healing Worship Ministry has grown into a significant presence in the gospel music scene. Based in Kicukiro district nearby Sonatube, the ministry comprises over 90 singers and numerous supporting members located across different continents.

The group became known through popular songs such as "Calvary," "Icyo Wavuze," "Amba Hafi," "Umva Icyo Ngusaba," "Nguwe Neza," "Yesu Ananipenda," "Tuliza Nguvu za Shetani," "Arakomeye Yesu," and "Ibiriho Ubu," among many others. Their ministry has expanded beyond Rwanda to neighboring countries.

Beyond music, Healing Worship Ministry actively participates in community healing initiatives, genocide memorial activities, and supports those affected by the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Many members are college and university graduates who serve as positive role models for youth, encouraging purposeful living.

In 2023, the group underwent strategic changes to expand their reach, officially becoming "Healing Worship Ministry" to welcome members from diverse faith backgrounds.

Their 2024 album "Sinzitesha Umunezero" featured 10 songs in audio and video formats available across all digital platforms. In 2025, they've already released two singles from their upcoming album "Bugingo Bwanjye" and "Eeh Mungu wa Majeshi."
