NYAMAGABE - Sixty-five pastors drawn from the ADPER Church in Nyamagabe district have vowed to step up the anti -AIDS awareness campaign among their followers.

The religious leaders made the resolutions  last week after completing a three-day training on HIV/AIDS and how to offer palliative care to people living with the virus.

"We often meet different categories of Christians, we are sure that the message on HIV/AIDS will reach many people regardless of the churches they come from,” said Pastor Charles Kabagire, from ADEPR Gikongoro.

The representative of World Vision, Jean Paul Habimana, noted that the role of churches is pivotal in curbing HIV/AIDS spread.
