Rwandan basketball heavyweights APR and Rwanda Energy Group (REG) will face off at Petit Stade on Friday, April 4, in their final meeting of the 2025 regular season.

APR currently lead the league table with 26 points while REG are in second with 18 points.

In the first round of the league, APR narrowly avoided an upset, securing a nail-biting overtime win against Rwanda Energy Group (REG), 64-61, on March 7.

So far, APR remains the only team unbeaten, while REG has lost two of the 10 games they’ve played so far this season.

REG will be playing without American shooting guard Cleveland Thomas Jr., who is sidelined due to an injury and has returned to the U.S. for treatment.

Earlier in the evening, Orion will face the Tigers at the same venue.

Currently, the Tigers occupy fourth place with 17 points, while Orion sits in sixth place with 14 points.
