Muslims in Rwanda, on March 30, joined their counterparts around the globe in celebrating Eid al-Fitr.

Thousands of members of Rwanda Muslim Community, gathered at Kigali Pele stadium for the morning prayer ahead of celebrating Eid al-Fitr with their families.

The prayer led by the Mufti of Rwanda, Mussa Sindayigaya, was also attended by Rwanda Defence Force Army Chief of Staff, Gen. Mubarakah Muganga, Deputy speaker of parliament, Sheikh Mussa Fasil Harerimana, Minister of Youth and Arts Abdallah Utumatwishima, Minister of Finance Yusufu Murangwa and former Mufti of Rwanda Sheikh Salim Hitimana among others.

In his remarks, the Mufti of Rwanda, Mussa Sindayigaya, encouraged the congregation to maintain good deeds throughout the year, emphasizing that the conclusion of Ramadan should not mark the end of virtuous actions.
