Police FC midfielder Abedi Bigirimana could be out for a t least two weeks after suffering a leg injury while on international duty with Burundi.

The Burundian playmaker lasted just 30 minutes before being replaced by Bienvenue Kanakimana as his country thrashed Seychelles 5-0 in World Cup 2026 qualifier held at Stade d'Honneur de Meknès, Morocco, on Tuesday, March 25.

Times Sport understands that Bigirimana will spend a minimum two weeks on the sidelines, meaning that he could potentially Police’s games against Kiyovu Sports on March 30, and Mukura VS.

Bigirimana has been among Police FC standout players this season, netting six goals and providing 3 assists in the Rwanda Premier League.
