Album concert of deceased gospel singer Gisele Precious slated this Sunday

Late Gospel musician Gisele Precious Nsabimana will be celebrated by family, gospel singers and friends in a concert to release her first and last album ‘ Imbaraga z’ Amasengesho’ at Dove Hotel.

The singer passed away on September 14, this year just two weeks after giving birth to her first born. She had released seven songs but had other songs in the studio that were being worked on and her family decided to finish their production to make an album.

The concert dubbed ‘An evening in memory of Gisele Precious ‘,will be free of charge since she never charged her music lovers in any of her concerts. During the release of her eleven-song album, there will be a launch of her initiative foundation named ‘Precious Foundation. The gates will open from 2pm.

Innocent Niyonkuru, the widower, revealed that the purpose for the concert and album is for Gisele’s music to live forever and her music lovers to keep listening to her great messages that she wanted to share through music.

"CDs of her album will be on sale so that we can support a family that she left. The main reason for the concert is to launch her album and support the gospel music journey that she had taken. It will be an evening of worship alongside other different gospel musicians, friends and family. Even though the concert is free we are open to anyone who would wish to support the family in any way,” said Louange Mukunzi, one of the organisers.

Gospel singer Alex Dusabe added that the concert will support what she had done so far and to make sure it stays forever. He encouraged gospel music lovers to buy the CDs because it will have an impact on her path of serving the lord.

Different gospel musicians like Alex Dusabe, Papi and Dorcas, Annet Murava, Kumbaya group, Shalom choir and anointed shine worship have been lined up to perform at the concert.

Some of her songs include ‘Imbaraga’, ‘Umusaraba’, ‘Shimwa’, ‘Urampagije’ and ‘Mbega Urukundo’ among others. She died aged 27 with dreams of building a foundation to help children and thanksgiving concerts.
