AFTER a disastrous showing in last year’s East Africa Secondary Schools Games which were staged in Kigali, Rwandan schools are determined to bring some silverware back home after storming the semi-finals of this year’s edition in Fort Portal- Uganda.

Ruhango (boys) and Indangaburezi (girls) are in the volleyball semi-finals after a 100% record at the group stage where they won all their three matches. Indangaburezi thumped Tetu of Kenya in straight sets 3-0 (25-23, 25-09, 25-20).

In handball, Cyuru (girls) won two of their three games to progress into the semis while Apapeb high school also stormed the last four in football.
