Thirty four staff members of the National Land Centre, last week, successfully completed a four-month training at the Rwanda Institute of Administration and Management (RIAM).

The training that has been on since April, centred on; customer care, ICT, public procurement and strategic management.
The institute’s head, Marc Kabandana, revealed that RIAM has trained large numbers of professionals since its inception in 2001.

The trainees were urged to be proactive and prioritise customer care as a way of delivering proper services to their communities, Kabandana said.

Kabandana added that the institute has plans of extending to district level in order to close the existing capacity gap.

The Deputy Director General of the Land Centre, Dr Didier Sagashya said that learning is a continuous process adding that the training programme is essential to help their staff keep abreast with the dynamics of the world.
