In the month of Ramadan, young and old are encouraged to pray and seek Allah

Editor,

Assalamu-Alaikum and Ramadan Greetings!

Dear brothers and sisters in Islam, Ramadan is here again with yet another opportunity for all of us to spiritually and physically rejuvenate ourselves.

With these opportunities, we therefore need to do our utmost to ensure that through our actions and behaviours, we take all necessary precautions to uphold the spirit of this noble month.

Many of us - good practising Muslims or not - fall into traps that sometimes unintentionally compromise the spirit of Ramadan.

During this Ramadan let’s ensure that we don’t fall into any such traps.

Remember, every hour, minute, and every second of Ramadan has an opportunity waiting for you to make your life better. Let’s not lose it!

Take those precautions and to make Ramadan this year a better month than last year and the years before.

Additionally, if you have ideas and thoughts that can help others improve on how they spend Ramadan, please share it with others at any moment because we should  always remind each other for own good and theirs.

Lastly, this holy month is not entirely about abstaining from eating, drinking and other related acts, but also we must indeed avoid talking ill about other people and instead concentrate on doing good deeds like helping the poor, reading the holy book Q’uran and discussing  Islam.

May you all have a VERY Blessed Ramadan
