Rubens Mukunzi

When I identify him as Rubens Mukunzi, it may take time for some to realize who he is. But let me mention Mr. Bean of Radio 10 and many will smile in recognition.

On top of being that cracking funny radio presenter, he is Managing Director of Oasis Gazette. Below he tells us how his typical day is:

I wake up at 5a.m, bath, have breakfast and set off for work.

It takes just minutes to get to work from Kacyiru to Radio 10 located in Gishushu.

Thus am always there before 6a.m and proceed with my morning show called ‘sugira’ at exactly 6a.m.

At 9a.m, I sign off and head to town for my duties at Oasis Gazette.

Depending on the programme of the day, I might have lunch at mid-day. I sometimes get back to Radio 10 to take part in some advertisements.

At 6p.m, I head to the Great Lakes Media Centre (GLMC) for studies in my profession.

At 9p.m I get back home.
I have a good time with my family and at around 10p.m, after a bath, I have supper.

By 11p.m, I must get to bed given the working schedule for the next day.
