Following Rayon Sports Women FC's impressive collection of trophies, with Heroes Cup being their mosty recent silverware in their cabinet, SKOL Brewery Ltd. On Tuesday, March 11, recognized the team in celebration of International Women's Day.
Eric Gilson, the General Manager at SKOL Brewery Ltd, expressed strong support for women within the company which is the main sponsor of both the men's and women's teams.
"Today, it's not just about appreciation. It's also about reaffirming our commitment to gender equality and women's empowerment. We want to see women excelling in all aspects, including sports," Gilson said.
Jeanine Uwimana, the President of Rayon Sports WFC, expressed her gratitude for the support and privilege that SKOL provides to the team, including the Rwf 500 million training facility located at the brewery headquarters in Nzove, which normally serves as the home ground for Rayon Sports WFC.
"SKOL has consistently supported our team, and we, as the women of Rayon Sports, demonstrate our capability by delivering trophies," Uwimana told Times Sport.

Uwimana believes that celebrating International Women&039;s Day and being recognized in their daily working environment encourages players to excel and reach greater heights.
"In general, women are powerful and can achieve their best. Especially on this day, as we recognize women worldwide, let it be clear that what men can do, women can also do," she noted.
Club captain Dorothee Mukeshimana also took the opportunity to address to parents to let their daughters realize their dream not only in football but also in other careers.
