Editor,

I am really disappointed with the questions asked by journalists on this monthly important press conference made by our president.

I am worried about the quality of our journalists.  How can a journalist stand up and ask a President a question about a personal case or just general things? Some questions seem quite nonsensical to me!

This conference is very important and very few presidents in Africa actually give journalists this kind of chance.

For example the President of Cameroon, Paul Biya, has now about 10 years without giving any interview to journalists and the president of DRC has made only two interviews since his election with local media.

So our journalists must capitalise on this important opportunity by asking questions with real importance about our country or international relations.

I think if the same nonsense continues journalists will be wasting our President time.
