RWAMAGANA - Kigali city workers played with their Eastern province counterparts in a rare occasion over the weekend.
The matches were no different from others going on around the country.

The sweating, panting players focused concentration on the ball, their teammates, their footwork, and their strategy.

At the end of the day, Kigali city stole the show by winning both the men and women matches, by 1-0 respectively.

Top government official, who attended the match included Dr. Ephraim Kabayija, the governor of eastern province and the Mayor of Kigali city Dr. Aisa Kirabo.

Kirabo, who arrived after the women’s match praised workers from both parts for their participation in the game.

She also echoed the importance of sports in promotion of peace, unity and good governance. 

The tournament, organized by the Ministry of Local government, Community development and Social affairs was aimed at promoting good governance.
