SC KIYOVU have refused to confirm reports linking them with former APR and Atraco coach Jean Marie Ntagwabira.

The club president John Gasamagera told Times Sport yesterday that they have identified a number of possible signing but that Ntagwabira is not one of them.

"For now, Ntagwabira is not on our wish list,” Gasamagera said.

Ntagwabira still ranks as one of the most celebrated Rwandan coaches.

During his six-year spell at APR, he helped the club to three league titles and two Amahoro Cup titles.

He also helped the club to the 2004 Cecafa Club Championship. During his era, APR also reached the third round of the MTN Africa Champions League.

He also won the league with Atraco back in 2007-08 but later left the club under mysterious circumstances.

Meanwhile, Atraco assistant captain Jean Shyaka has also been linked with a possible return to the military side. The midfielder’s contract with Atraco ran out this month.
