The cause of her death is not yet known.Carine Umwari, 21, was residing in Sedes Sapientiae girl’s hostel situated near the main university campus.
Students suspected that the deceased could have slipped and fell in flooded floors of the shower rooms at the hostel.
The body of the deceased has been transferred to King Faisal Hospital for a post mortem-whose results were not available by press time.
According to the University Publicist, Sam Muzinga the university is in touch with the family of the deceased to arrange for her burial.
"It is very unfortunate; we are working closely with the family of the deceased to organise for burial in Kigali,” he said.
