A parrot’s ability to mimic human speech is one of the bird’s most appealing traits.

Parrots, along with ravens, crows, jays, are some of the most intelligent birds.

The ability of some parrot species to imitate the human voice makes these birds very popular. Everyone loves to adopt them as pets.

Depending on the words that they hear most of the time, parrots can learn to speak them.

These range from names and sentences. Some parrots are trained to keep guard of homes. They alert the residents in case of any danger.

Parrots are subdivided into three families. The characteristic features of parrots include a strong curved bill, an upright stance, strong legs, and clawed feet.

Most parrots are predominantly green, with other bright colors, and some species are multi-colored.

God gave parrots macaws which is the big, thick beak that can crack the hardest nut. The parrot is the only bird in the world that can use its foot like a hand to bring food up to its mouth.

Parrot species range from mostly white to mostly black, and have a mobile crest of feathers on the top of their heads.

They are the most variably sized bird order in terms of length.
These colourful and talkative birds, eat seeds, buds, fruits, nuts and other plant materials.

Parrots are friendly to people. When adopted as pets, they never run away even if they are set free. They always go back to their cages.
