Rwanda’s modern gospel music star Chryso Ndasingwa will, effective this year, start to headline annual gospel concert dubbed ‘Easter Experience,’ with the maiden edition scheduled for April 20 at Intare Conference Arena.

The concert, themed Thanksgiving, Healing, and Revival, aims to provide a space for worship, gratitude, and celebration of Christ’s resurrection.

Speaking to The New Times, Ndasingwa emphasized the importance of Easter as a time to reflect on God’s love and grace.

"This is a season to reflect on God’s goodness, especially through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ,” he said. "We want to create an atmosphere of deep worship, thanksgiving, and celebration as we come together to glorify Him.”

He explained that the theme of the concert—Thanksgiving, Healing, and Revival—is meant to encourage people to shift their focus from their challenges to God’s faithfulness.

"This concert is a call to elevate our gratitude and acknowledge what Christ has done for us.”

Speaking on what to expect, Ndasingwa promises a life-changing event featuring powerful worship, uplifting music, and joyful celebration.

The concert will bring together a lineup of anointed gospel artistes, including Arsene Tuyi, the worship duo Papi and Dorcas, and True Promises Ministry.

Reflecting on his journey as a gospel artist, Ndasingwa described the concert as a testimony of God’s grace over his life and ministry.

"From the time I got saved in 2012 to leading worship and now organizing events like this, I’ve seen God move in ways I never imagined. I want this concert to be a testimony for others as well,” he said.

For Ndasingwa, Easter is the foundation of the Christian faith.

"Jesus’ death and resurrection mean victory, redemption, and grace. My music is centered on the cross, His blood, and the new life we have in Him. That’s what this concert is about.”

Ndasingwa sees the concert as a contribution to the growth of gospel music in the region.

"Gospel music in our region is growing, and events like this help strengthen the industry. This concert is about setting a new standard in excellence and creating platforms where gospel artists can thrive.”

Looking ahead, Ndasingwa plans to continue releasing music, possibly organize a worship tour, and expand the impact of gospel music across Africa and beyond. He also confirmed that the Easter Experience concert would become an annual event.

"We want to build something that will last and impact generations,” he said.

Tickets are now available online with prices ranging from Rwf 10,000 for regular seats to Rwf 50,000 for VIP access.

According to the artiste, the event will be live-streamed to allow those who won’t be able to attend the concert in person,
