20-year-old, Clarisse Nshuti is the newly crowned Miss Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) 2009-2010.The first year student in the faculty of Engineering is reportedly a goodwill ambassador for women and children in Rwanda.

She is working on her project to raise awareness and to sensitize the youth to participate in sports activities.

The Miss considers this to be a positive mechanism for health purposes and to prevent youth from hazardous practices like drugs abuse and crime.

"The sky is the limit”, they say. This beauty queen says that her team as Miss is a great opportunity for her to prove to the university, and to the entire Rwandan society what she is capable of doing.

Her determination and aspiration says it all that her mandate will benefit many, especially the underprivileged and the youth in particular, whom she describes as the "future” of the country.

Nshuti has a natural beauty. Her smooth dazzling black skin, and glorious body structure qualifies her to be nothing but a "Beauty Queen”.

And what adds to her sultry attraction is the fact that she is intelligent, ambitious, social and principled.

When not busy with her studies or engaged in her office responsibilities as a Miss, Nshuti reads plenty of books and newspapers.

She also enjoys hanging out in coffee shops with her friends or going swimming. She also loves playing basketball.
