Behold to the land of a thousand hills and its beauties. It’s now apparent that Rwanda’s entertainment industry is moving to an amazing stage.

Yesterday we reported that B-Club, one of Kigali’s hot discotheques will host "Meet & Greet” celebrity party on Friday, the first event that will feature international famous vocalists, including the P. Square, J.B. Mpiana, and Blu3.

Latest from our entertainment industry is that, the club is set to host the first ever casting fashion show.

The event which is set to take place today, August 21, will be held under the theme: "4EVER BEAUTIFUL”.

Divine Kirezy, a Rwandan model based in Canada, is in the country to make her dream come true.

25-year-old, Kirezy owns D-Models Agency based in Canada, and she wants to open another agency in the country if all goes well.

In an interview with The New Times, Kirezy said that she is searching for models. "We are looking for models (5’7 and up), who’re passionate about modeling and fashion industry.”

"I’m looking for 15 models, but so far I have got nine, but the search is still going on.”

To make the women beautiful, Kirezy says they will present different styles, best dresses by the celebrity designers, like Jovani, Sherri Hill, Konvict Clothing (by Akon) and her own collection-including this season’s trends up to the end of 2009.

"The model must be disciplined, flexible, and comfortable with high fashion clothes styles,” Kirezy emphasized.

Meanwhile, today’s casting fashion show will be in preparation for a mega fashion show, scheduled to take place in December, 2009.

Kirezy, who started modeling at the age of 15, says that she is very keen about investing her talent in the country.

She also noted that she is absolutely aware about Rwanda’s conservative culture, and that the designs will be decent.

"My aim is create awareness about fashion designs in the country. I want Rwandans to move with the latest trend, and to know what to wear when,” Kirezy said.
