FOUR local coaches have been awarded Class B Coaching licenses reports Bonnie Mugabe.

Thoenas Ndanguza, Claude Ishimwe, Sosthene Habimana and Vincent Mashami received their licenses on Tuesday at the German Embassy after successfully completing the third edition of the international coaches training course at Ruit Sports academy in Nellingen, Germany.

After handing over the licenses, the deputy head of mission at the Germany Embassy Frank Maier urged the quartet to put to good use the knowledge gained form the course.

Maier also commended the successful cooperation between the Rwanda football federation, Ferwafa and the German Football Federation (DFB) noting that the co-operation had not only targeted coaches and improved football standards in the country but that it had also given technical support to both the national team and youth football team.
