Rwanda National Police said three people were arrested on Monday, February 24, in connection with an attack on Moses Turahirwa, the founder of the Moshions fashion brand, who was in Musanze District.

According to reports, Turahirwa was attacked and injured.

"Three individuals suspected of involvement in the assault on Turahirwa have been arrested and are currently detained at Muhoza Police Station in Musanze, pending investigation,” the police said in post on X.

Turahirwa is widely recognized for his work in the Rwanda fashion industry. The designs, which have earned him acclaim both locally and internationally, blend traditional Rwandan motifs with contemporary styles.
