Amavubi head coach Branko Tucak has extended his long standing media blackout following Rwanda’s 1-2 loss to Tanzania in Wednesday’s international friendly match at regional Nyamirambo stadium.

The arrogant Croat refused to talk to the journalists, who wanted to get his comment after the disappointing loss to Taifa Stars.

Whereas his counterpart, Marcio Maximo found no problem in giving interviews after the match, Tucak said, "I cannot give you interviews because I don’t want. There are no interviews today.

"I don’t deal with disorganized journalists,” the under pressure Croat sneered at local journalists.

Winless in six international matches, Tucak gagged his assistant Eric Nshimiyimana and stand-in team captain Hamad Ndikumana not to talk to the media.

Tucak media blackout has been on ever since the start of the 2010 World/Africa Nations Cup campaign.

He only gives interview during Ferwafa organized press conferences, which also happens once in three months or even more.

His media blackout started after a humiliating 4-0 defeat away to Sudan in the first leg, first round of the African Nations Championship in Khartoum. It was his first game in charge.

On return, nobody in the team was allowed to make any comment.

This ‘rule’ even applied to the traveling contingent that was led by Ferwafa’s Chief Executive Officer Jules Kalisa.  Just like other members on the team, Kalisa turned down any request for an interview.

This blackout continued even in the second and third round of the 2010 world/Africa qualifiers.
