Under-19 national team coach Michael Weiss is confident his side will match Egypt stride by stride in the Group C opening match of the Cecafa Youth Championship due this month in Khartoum, Sudan.

Rwanda plays Egypt on August 20 and Weiss told Times Sport that his target is to get his team’s campaign with a win.

"We are trying our level best to prepare these young players to be in top form, physically and tactically, and they are promising a lot

"We have to go to Sudan in top gear and I’m confident the team will display good football against not only Egypt but also all our other opponents,” Weiss said.
