APR star man Denis Omedi says Kiyovu Sports gave them a difficult time despite finishing on a losing side during Saturday’s clash at Kigali Pele Stadium on Saturday.
Kiyovu had taken an 11th minute lead through David Niyo before the Ugandan forward scored twice to help APR come from behind to achieve a 2-1 win comeback.

Against APR, Omedi admits Kiyovu weren’t looking like a bottom-placed team considering the fact that they gave them a tough time to get the win.
"Kiyovu were not an easy team, what I can say is that it was not an easy game, but we came back strong. It was a good game," the former Kitara FC forward told the media in a post-match interview.
Omedi has had a bright start to new life at APR since joining the club during the January transfer window, having scored three goals in three appearances.
commenting his performance on Saturday, he described his double against Kiyovu as ‘just the beginning.’
"Playing my first game in the Rwanda Premier League and scoring two goals is a good sign."
APR will host city rivals AS Kigali on match day 17 at Kigali Pele Stadium on Sunday, February 16.
