APR FC vs Kiyovu Sports 18:00

SC Kiyovu are taking every game seriously as they fight hard to stay in Rwanda Premier League next season.

The Green Baggies finished the first round of the league campaign at the bottom of the table with 15 points. They have a mountain to climb ahead of them when they take on APR FC at Kigali Pele Stadium on Saturday, February 8, at 18:00.

It won’t be an easy challenge for Marcel Lomami and his side, as they begin their quest to relegation safety against APR FC who are also chasing league leaders Rayon Sports in the title race.

"It is possible to win against APR but it is always hard as we are facing one of the toughest club in country. I played against them as player and as coach I know how difficult it is to play against them but we must be ready for the challenge if we want to stay in top division,” Lomami said.

"What we have to do is to win our game which can increase our chances to move up on table. The chances against APR are slim because we have lost many matches but we need to put effort in the second round to win more matches, and I have hope. A anything can happen so let’s wait and see,” he added.

Elsewhere, AS Kigali will take on Bugesera FC at Kigali Pele Stadium, Mukura face Muhazi United while Rutsiro FC host Police FC at Umuganda Stadium.
