Rwanda Energy Group (REG) point guard Jean-Jacques Boissy has been summoned on the Senegalese national team roster for the AfroBasket qualifiers scheduled for February 21-23 in Rabat, Morocco.
Morocco will host both Group A and C of the upcoming qualifying window. The Northern African country is pooled in Group A alongside Mali, the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan, while Boissy’s Senegal are in Group C which also comprises Cameroon, Gabon and Rwanda.

The top three teams from each group will earn a ticket to AfroBasket 2025.
Boissy, 24, who also most recently played for Burundi’s Urunani, has been representing Senegal for the past few years.
Meanwhile, on Rwandan side, Cheikh Sarr will summon the squad on Sunday, just a day before the team start training on Monday, February 10.
