After helping their club win a record tenth league title, majority of APR players don’t know what their immediate future after their contracts expired and there is no indication of talks to either get them renewed to allow them move on.

Some of the first team players whose contracts have expired include; Haruna Niyonzima, Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza, Jean Marie Vianney Rukundo, Arafat Serugendo, Djabir Mutarambirwa and Ngomirakiza Hegman.

But APR Secretary General Adolphe Kalisa told this paper yesterday that they are still assessing the coach Erik Paske’s report (Paske is away on holiday in Holland) on the whole squad before decision which to retain and those to let go.

"We are still analyzing the report that Paske left for us regarding the players he wants to stay. There are also some players that we want to buy from other clubs and we are processing that.

By Thursday we shall have a clear idea on whether to renew their contracts or not, and we will also know the new players coming in,” Kalisa told Times Sport.
