Rwanda captain Djihad Bizimana has joined Libyan giants Al Ahli Tripoli on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Bizimana, 28, was acquired by Ahli from Ukrainian outfit FC Kryvbas where he had 5 months left on his contract and reunites with fellow Amavubi star Thierry Manzi who is one of the key players at the club.
In his farewell message to Kryvbas, Bizimana took to his Instagram page on Thursday and said, "I will miss each and every one of you. Thank you for all the support and great memories. Wishing the team continued success. Having such a competent and committed staff and played to work with has been an absolute pleasure. Thank you so much FC Kryvbas."

The experienced midfielder previously played for clubs including Rayon Sports and APR in Rwanda as well as Waasland Beveren and KMSK Deinze in Belgium.
His new club, Al Ahli Tripoli, founded in September 19, 1950, is among the most successful clubs in Libya having won 13 league titles, 7 Libyan Cups and 2 Super Cups.
On the continental scene, they reached the quarter finals of the CAF Champions League in 2017 and the semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2022.
Elsewhere, Amavubi winger Rafael York has joined Egyptian Premier League side Zed FC for an undisclosed period.

York, 24, left Swedish side Gefle IF after their relegation from the second tier league and has been a free agent since January 1, 2025.
His new club, Zed FC, was formerly known as FC Masr and it is based in the city of Giza.
