Holidaying is so nice, especially in Rwanda

WHEN it comes to pleasing your other half, yourself and your juniors and their sisters, at the same time, there is nothing more satisfying than holidaying together.

WHEN it comes to pleasing your other half, yourself and your juniors and their sisters, at the same time, there is nothing more satisfying than holidaying together.

This summer I chose to visit Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda.

We crossed four borders and checked all of them so easily and so quickly, but on the Rwandan side, they demanded to check our luggage.

On opening our bags, the customs officer’s face suddenly changed. He said, "you are not allowed to carry plastic bags into the country”.

My cousin whom I was with told me that Rwanda banned the use of plastic bags. When I complied, the customs officer smiled at me.

As we enter the country Rwanda, a huge sign board is seen well placed to warn whoever is entering the country: ‘investment YES, corruption NO”- A clear strong stand against corruption and the willingness to attract visitors with its hills, sliced by interlocking spurs and tea plantation.
