Miss Kigali, Cynthia Akazuba is certainly an ambitious and dynamic young Rwanda woman with a powerful command of charity.

According to report from Kigali City Council, the Miss will be visiting Transit Centre (a rehabilitation centre) in Gikondo, one of Kigali’s suburbs this week.

Of course this is not news, because ever since was crowned, she has been actively participating in social activities, to help the needy benefit from her crown.

She has not forgotten her duties. She has embarked on advocating for children and women’s rights.

Akazuba launched an anti-Aids campaign, visited orphanage centres, widows associations, and participated in the ongoing "One Dollar Campaign”.

She is now visiting rehabilitation centres, in the campaign to sensitize for human rights and awareness.

The 20-year-old is the maiden Miss Kigali, and was crowned in 2007 by the First Lady Jeannette Kagame. She is in a final year in Lycée de Kigali.
