AS Kigali has signed former Amavubi skipper Haruna Niyonzima on a six month deal.
The Rwandan football icon has been training with the Citizens over the past two weeks and has now been offered a short term deal.
The deal is subject to renewal at the end of the 2024/25 based on the performance of the experienced player.

Niyonzima is Rwanda's all time most capped player with 110 appearances at the senior national team level.
He played for AS Kigali before moving to Libya in 2022.
He signed for Rayon Sports in July 2024 but terminated his contract due to unpaid recruitment fees.
Elsewhere, Rayon Sports are in talks to sign KCCA offensive midfielder Bright Anukani as a back up to their skipper Kevin Muhire.
Anukani worked with Rayon coach Robertinho Oliveira at Vipers and they both understand each other's philosophy.
The only thing that is reportedly hindering the move is that Anukani has two and half years left on his KCCA contract.
