Kepler 71-67 UGB

Chandelier Twizeyimana scored 26 points as Kepler ran away with a slim 71-67 win over United Generation Basketball (UGB) during Saturday's Rwanda Basketball League (RBL) game at Lycee de Kigali (LDK) Gymnasium.

The game’s first half took place at Kepler Court in Kinyinya but the second one had to be played at LDK Gymnasium due a downpour that couldn't allow it to continue on the uncovered Kepler Court.

In addition to Twizeyimana’s exploits, American point guard Chad Bowie and Rwandan forward Elie Kaje added 9 and 8 points respectively to secure the important victory for Kepler.

The league will continue on Sunday as AZOMCO take on REG at LDK Gymnasium, while defending champions APR will play against Orion at the same venue.
