Amputee football: Rwandan duo on target for Turkish club

Rwandan players Fidele Gatete and Jean Paul Ntambara were on the scoresheet for Malatya Spor Kulubu in the Turkish Amputee Football Lig 1 on Tuesday night as they beat Bagcilar 3-1.

The crucial match, a day 7 away encounter, saw Malatya dominating their opponent and netting three goals before the home side reduced the deficit.

Gatete scored the opener in the ninth minute, before Ntambara made it 2-0 in the 18th minute.

Hussein Bozkus extended Malatya's lead to 3-0 in the 28th minute, as they took firm control of the game.

Bagcilar, however, reduced the deficit in the 44th minute through Adelino Epomba, and the game ended 3-1 in favor of the visitors.

Gatete, who is also the captain of the Rwanda National Amputee Football team, has scored three goals so far for Malatya.
