Three months ago, thumping dance music could hardly be heard coming from B-Club, but its proprietor Barry Ndengeyingoma, has revealed that the former noble lounge-bar will re-open on July 31, as a discotheque.

Situated in Nyarutarama (Kobil Building), the complex is owned by one of Kigali’s tycoons, Barry Ndengeyingoma, who also owns Palm Hotel, in the Western Province (Gisenyi).

Ndengeyingoma said that the launch will be by invitation, and at least only 50 people are expected to receive the invitation cards.

The club will be exploding with music, drinks and food.
both local and regional professional entertainers, including the former manager of Uganda’s Obsession dance group, Ronnie Mulindwa will entertain the crowd until dawn.

The event will be open to the public by midnight to give chance to other club-goers to celebrate B-Club’s resurrection.

The newly-re-opened hang-out spot, promises to become the excellent nightclub in town and its services are set to kick things off in style.

Ndengeyingoma told The New Times, that besides the club, other dealings like introducing live band performances, singing and dancing competitions, modelling competitions and many others will be introduced to entertain people.

Ndengeyingoma, who has lived overseas for over 12 years, is said to be eager to develop his country by embarking on big investments in Rwanda.

"We intend to hire professionals to train locals, in order to boost customer services at the discotheque, and to give our clients the best services,” Ndengeye said.

Both its exterior and interior has been given a professional design and new look.

The nightspot is designed with fainted colours and disco lights allover, whereas the lounge-bar is decorated with brighter colours.

Ndengeyingoma said that they are looking forward to provide world fusion food, colourful dishes, world cocktails and classy services.

The lounge-bar will be open everyday, but the discotheque will be operating only on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  And will be animated by professional disc jockeys (DJs), bringing a mixture of all music styles.

Meanwhile, despite of all the extraordinary services, the club does not intend to hike its charges, but instead will introduce membership cards.
