Jean Bosco Bakunzi, one of Ivuka Art Studio’s upcoming painters, has launched his first solo exhibition at Heaven Restaurant, in Kiyovu.

The young artist’s work that is on display for two weeks, has attracted a crowd of art lovers who are intrigued by his style of ‘Cubism’ that is in the form of ‘Semi Abstract’ and ‘Realism’ medium of painting.

Cubism is a style of painting where a squared canvas background is used for oil painting.

Bakunzi told The New Times that the exhibition is successful. He added that it was another step for him, as well as for other Rwandan painters to sell Rwanda’s arts and culture to the global market.
