Vincent Ngaboyisonga is the Director of Education, Sports and Culture in Gasabo district.  Below, he shares with you his typical day’s work:

I wake-up at 5a.m, lay-out a days` programme and say a prayer.  I take a shower and have breakfast. At about 6.20a.m, I leave home in Kimironko and drop my children at school. However, I make sure that by 7a.m, I am in office
Depending on the programme that I laid from home, I start work right away.

I deal with issues mainly concerning teachers, organizing and laying district programmes on culture and sports, among others.

If I happen to get some time, I have lunch at 1p.m. Given the work schedule, I sometimes attend different meetings with officials from different districts.

I stop work at 4 or 5p.m although I sometimes leave the workplace later than that.

I then either join my friends or get back home and shower.
The latest I am home is 7p.m, have fun with my family and get some time to listen to news.

I have supper at 8p.m and by 9p.m I am in bed.
