ROCK HILLSu2019 T- Rock and P-Rock ready to rock you with Rock music

New rock band "Rock Hills” formed by  secondary school teenagers, Jean Twagirumukiza (T-Rock) and Paulin Nyakiminika (P-Rock)., has promised rock music fans a value for their money.

According to the duo, forming Rock Hills was as a result of being in love with  rock music.
Their first hit is "Uzaza Ryari” and they are soon releasing "Iherezo ry’urukundo”.

The New Times (TNT) had a small chat with the two and here are excerpts:
 
TNT: What inspired you to sing?

RH: We sing about things that happen, and this is the inspiration.

TNT: Do people get your message?

RH: Yes of course and we are confident because we do it well and in a good style.

TNT: Are you really able to pay the studio without any help?

RH: Not really but we try our best and we hope to get a Manager.

TNT: How do you mix your studies and your music?

RH: Everything has its own time!

TNT: How do othe students treat you?

RH: Everything has changed. They treat us like rich men, new people in society...

TNT: So, how do you carry yourselves?

RH: Nothing has changed for us. We are just ourselves!

TNT: Do you have girl friends?

RH: That is right men!

TNT: Why?

RH: Love does not ask why!

TNT: Who is your  number one musician in this world?

RH: A group called "Nickelback”

TNT: How about in Rwanda?

RH: Us first, others after!

TNT:  What can you let out to other artists?

RH: Congratulations to super stars, and courage to the upcoming ones!

TNT: What can you say about  ‘BEEF’?

RH: We wish people would not waste their time in that.

TNT: And to your fans?

RH: We have many things new for them. We want Rwandans to enjoy Rock music!
