Christian Kamari

Christian Kamari is the Branch Manager of Urwego Opportunity Bank in Kigali City. His kind of work must call for serious concentration and accuracy. He somehow finds time to enjoy the weekend. Below, he tells us how:

Although part of the weekend is dedicated to my work, I use most of it for my private life.

Friday at about 6.30p.m is when my weekend starts, although sometimes it starts later than that.

When I leave office on Friday, I go home straight away. I dedicate Friday evening to only watching movies and relaxation, not bothered with the next day since I only work half a day.

On Saturday, at 7a.m I get out of bed, report for work casually dressed and sign out at mid-day. Lunch time gets me at my joint where I enjoy an Italian dish mainly the peas.

Of course, I cannot miss the internet to explore the world and by 5p.m it’s sports time, I go swimming.

It’s that time when I catch-up with my colleagues. I have fun and enjoy the company that I miss through the week.

On Sunday, like a devoted Christian, I give church the first priority, check on a few friends and have light moments with my family members as I prepare for Monday.

That’s how perfect I spend the weekend.
