Well, the thought that tomorrow is Monday might not be that amusing but hey, at least you get to read the SundayMag!

And what’s on the menu today…let’s see…yes, we have the Diaspoman – his throat is suffering from credit crunch effects, then the Villager tells us about how he earned his ‘visa’ to heaven, as usual The Hater has something on his hate plate, the Bird Hunter will take you through his narrow escape in Igwe!! Land (don’t ask why he uses the exclamation marks before Land) and much more more.

For our main feature, our very own Grace Mugoya explores the labour law.

He’s not a lawyer, so he looks at it with a social science point of view.

He talks to those in position to ensure that our mothers are not exploited in their places of work especially at their labour places during and immediately after pregnancy.

You know even the toughest and meanest looking bosses, not withstanding those abusing pregnant women, were once lovingly carried for nine months in a mother’s womb!

So, the more need why we need to respect our mothers. The catch word here is respect for the employee and vice versa.

So, without sounding so sombre, we give you your best weekend companion. Hey, and thank God it’s Sunday. Right?
