A delegation of Rwandans are in Singapore for a week long visit that is aimed at building a skills development programme for sub-Saharan Africa.

The visit organised by the World Bank Human Development Department for the Africa  (AFTHD)  in  partnership  with  the  government  of Singapore is the Third  South-South  Study  visit on skills and knowledge  development  for growth in Africa.

More than 35 practitioners and ministers representing different sectors from 6 sub-Saharan Africa, together with  World Bank staff, will are taking part in this week-long event.

The  Rwandan  delegation    includes  Ms. Mukakarangwa Marceline , the Parmenent Secretary   in  the   Ministry  of  Public  Service and Labor, Mr.Lewis Kabayiza Murara  ,The  Public  Sector  Management  Specialist   in  the World Bank Rwanda Country   Office,   Ms.   Molly   Rwigamba    and     Jean  Damascene   Gatabazi respectively  ,Director  Capacity  Bulding&Skills  development  in  the  Private sector   Federation   and    Director   General  of  the  Workforce  Development Authority.Other  countries  participating   in  the  program  are  Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria and Tanzania.
