The Nyarugenge Intermediate court ruled to re-open Dieudonne Ishimwe, alias Prince Kid’s trial on November 15.

His trial previously started in May and closed on October 5.

Ishimwe is pinned on three charges including; soliciting or offering sexual favours, harassment, and rape.

The decision to postpone the pronouncement, according to the presiding judge, aimed at re-examining some witnesses in the trial.

Those witnesses have been examined before by the prosecution and Rwanda Investigation Bureau.

According to the presiding judge, the witnesses will be examined by court through skype and the hearing will be conducted in camera.

During the hearing, the witnesses will be responding to court questions only, and Ishimwe will have time to comment on their testimonies.

Ishimwe is the CEO of Rwanda Inspirational Backup, the company that formerly organised the Miss Rwanda beauty pageant from 2014 until May this year when it was halted from organising the pageant.
