A carefully-selected Amapiano playlist was at the heart of Thursday’s Heineken-powered 'Afterwork Rooftop' mixes at Riders Lounge, Kigali Heights, as tens of guests who gathered at the place with excitement to enjoy the taste of the brand while also enjoying exclusive entertainment by the Heineken’s brand ambassador DJ Marnaud.

The event, dubbed 'Afterwork Rooftop Mixes by Heineken', was organised by local brewer Bralirwa to create a networking platform between the brewer’s officials and its clients towards promoting Heineken to a wide range of customers.

It also seeks to hype the audience and build the momentum ahead of the highly-anticipated ‘Major League’, a Heineken-powered grand show scheduled November 4, at BK Arena with South Africa’s twin DJs ‘Major League DJz’ confirmed as the top headliner alongside a yet to be announced lineup of local DJs.

Marnaud was again the man of the show at Riders Lounge, as he lit up the place with exceptional mixes of music, purely Amapiano to the excitement of people who turned up for the colorful Heineken-powered event.

On a Heineken-branded set, DJ Marnaud already had Amapiano music in mind as his special musical treat for the guests. The DJ created a vibrant atmosphere with the genre and got everybody groovy.

After the inaugural show at Calabash brought together journalists and social media influencers, it was the artists’ turn on Thursday as musicians, fashionistas, producers and DJs attended in numbers to grace the evening of Heineken.

DJs Toxxyk and Pius, rapper Riderman and fast-rising female musician Bwiza, among notable figures in the arts industry, were present to honor brewer’s invitation.

Marnaud’s four-hour ride on the decks came to an end at 11pm as invitees returned home excited but hungrier to show up at Heineken’s future 'Afterwork Rooftop'
