Today technology has quickly changed the world we live in. Every part of society through new developments has made life easier to live because of easy access through the internet. Children too are not left behind in fact they are the fastest learners when it comes to using the internet.

In Rwanda for example, the One Laptop Per Child project was introduced and at least two million children in primary schools will own a laptop. This is a very big step in which children can help the country to achieve development.

Even if this sounds like a very huge dream for children, it is possible. It all starts with learning little by little on your laptops. Start by drawing sketches, writing stories, taking pictures, making videos and even chatting.

These activities are what will make children become the future architects, pilots, writers, journalists, photographers, filmmakers, communication managers—the list is endless.

Children can use what they have to make great things to happen for themselves and their country. Just like the developed countries, Rwandan children today can be the source and most important part in the development of our country.

So enjoy the computers you have, take advantage of the available internet connections and surf the right websites that will develop your mind and help you succeed in school. This is what will create a bright future for everyone and the country at large.
