Gerard Nkusi Mukuba is the Director Taxpayer Services Department at Rwanda Revenue Authority. Below, he shares his perfect weekend with us: Although I dedicate some time of the weekend to my work, it gets perfect on Sunday. I leave work very late on Friday since I use four evening hours to educate some people at work about tax systems.

On Saturday, I get some free time. But as I said, I use some of it to enlighten people about taxation depending on the programme. That’s the time when I also visit those I believe need my visit (on work related issues). This is why I said that I somehow dedicate part of the weekend for work.

On Sunday morning I go to church. As a man of a family, spending time with my family and enjoying together as well as exchanging ideas on issues of interest counts for me.

As that is not enough, I catch up with my friends in the evening and this is the time when I feel the difference from the working days in office. I normally make sure I am at home to prepare for a perfect Monday too.

That makes my weekend perfect.
