The National Post Primary soccer competition semi-finals and finals for boys are set to be held in Rubavu, western province today and tomorrow respectively.

The soccer competitions are organised for students aged 16 years and below. After preliminary action, the best school from all the four provinces will square up today for the semi-finals.

Gasabo, Huye, Rubavu and Gicumbi are the teams that will contest in today’s semifinal but by Press time, the draws were yet to be made.

Bralirwa through their soft drink Coca-Cola are the official sponsors of the tournament after splashing Frw 10m in the event.

The technical director of the National Post Primary Aaron Rurangirwa yesterday told Times Sport that this year’s soccer competitions have been very competitive partly because of the lucrative prizes on offer.

"We did not encounter any financial problems this year, because of Bralirwa’s package and teams have played fantastic football,” Rurangirwa said.
