Let’s embrace the new science curriculum

I am a regular reader of your newspaper and allow me to extend my gratitude to the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) for having revised the Ordinary Level science curriculum.

I believe its one of the ways the government has put in place to make this country science and technology-based.

The new science syllabus together with trained teachers is to have a positive impact in as far as promoting science and technology is concerned.

Students need to be exposed to more practical work so as to get used to the challenges of their respective careers when they get out of school and this is what the new curriculum has come for.

I appeal to all students to embrace the new strategy since it better addresses the problems that are related to technical skills that are still lacking among university graduates.
